WORKING FROM YOUR PHOTOS
Here at Enchanted Visionz, we take your "mundane" every-day
photographs and turn them into magical, fantasy works of art.
Please note that while we are able to get beautiful effects with
our digital process, we still need the best possible start. That
means, we need a high quality photograph from you. It doesn't
have to be professionaly taken, in fact we prefer snapshots that
you take yourself. However, we do need a high resolution photo
to work from. If you are technologically challenged, you may mail
us your actual photographs and we will scan them in for you. We
cannot work with grainy, low resolution web images, so please
keep this in mind when choosing your photographs.
TIPS ON TAKING YOUR PHOTOS
The ideal scenario is for you to envision what type of fantasy
portrait you're going to have us create, and then set out to take
some photographs with that in mind. Here are some tips for taking
photographs of several different proposed subjects:
Babies or small children: Children are naturally
beautiful and have exquisite skin! It is best to take photographs
of them in natural lighting (outdoor sunlight coming in a window,
or even outside). With babies, as little clothing as possible
is best as it is wonderful to showcase their beautiful fresh skin.
If you're having us add wings to your babies...be sure they are
in an upright or tummy position. With young children, costuming
is key. Think gossamer dresses which show the shoulders and arms
for girls, and natural "less is more" outfits for boys.
When posing young children, keep in mind the elements you will
have us add.
Teen Girls & Adult Women: We specialize in
turning teen girls and adult women into fairies, goddesses, mermaids
and more. With this age group, the pose is the key to a successful
finished portrait. Be a bit dramatic with your poses and wear
something enchanting. Also, it's a great idea to give us several
poses and photos to pick from. Again, natural indoor lighting
or outdoor shaded lighting is best.
Boys & Men: With the guys, less is more in
costuming. Consider a shirt off pose which would allow us to add
leaves and other woodsie elements during the fantasy portrait
process. If you have a favorite costume, wear it and we'll create
the perfect fantasy backdrop!
Pets: We don't just create fantasy portraits
of people! We can even turn your favorite pet into a fantasy creature.
Maybe a faery cat or an elven puppy! Again, we prefer to be given
several shots to choose from.
ANOTHER NOTE ON COSTUMING
It is really important to dress the part a bit in the photographs
you send us. We can of course add elements in the enhancement
process, but the more you give us to work from, the better your
final portrait will turn out. Especially with children, we prefer
costuming that shows off their beautiful new skin.
THE MORE PHOTOS THE BETTER!
The more photographs you can give us to work from, the better.
That way, we can pick the one to work from that will offer the
best potential.
